Abusers regularly deny the abuse ever took place, rationalize their abusive behaviors, or use tactics to cover themselves—and each other.
Personality disordered individuals are skilled deniers. The rest of us would stutter or blush, but they lie with a convincing confidence and certainty. They may pose as authorities and deter challenges by acting ”offended” if put on the spot—instead of answering the question. An arrogant manner often indicates a lifetime of “successful” manipulation and contempt for other people, who they regard as inferior.
